The Hou 13 is a great small canoe designed for smaller solo paddlers who want a nimble boat that still tracks well and is efficient in a straight line. The boat is also a great boat for teaching children and young adults how to paddle a canoe as it responds so much quicker to paddle inputs than a more traditional 15-16-foot canoe. It’s also much lighter so is easier to manage off the water.
